Vicki Shaub
Vicki Shaub’s lifelong passion has been helping others grow — in knowledge, in health, and in faith.
Her background is in education, having taught biology and other sciences to students in grades 7 through 12 in both public and private schools. During those years, she also served as a faculty participant in a school counseling program, leading small student groups on topics such as codependency and living a healthy emotional life.
Following her years in the classroom, Vicki pursued her nursing education at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee, where she prepared for a long and rewarding career in healthcare. For 28 years, she served as a family nurse practitioner in both family practice and urgent care settings, caring for patients across all ages and walks of life. She also enjoyed mentoring future nurses as an on-site clinical instructor for graduate nursing students.
Now happily retired, Vicki enjoys sharing time with family—especially her grandchildren—along with friends, church life, and the simple rhythms of home. She can often be found writing, tending the yard, or creating quiet spaces for reflection, all while continuing to press in and press on toward deeper intimacy with Jesus in her own ongoing pursuit of a life that is fully whole.
